Objective: Build a course dependency graph for the courses offered by the College of Computer and Information Science (CCIS) at Northeastern University. This will provide an easy way for students to chart out their course plans and specialization paths.
Implementation:
- Web scraper to parse the CCIS Course list webpage and collect course info for all the departments under CCIS.
- Represent the data using a suitable data model.
- Use D3.JS to provide interactive visualization for the course graph
