yes, infact it is unlocked, i ran the script that unlocks the BL

Are you using Windows? It's possible that your Fastboot version is outdated. Try installing Fastboot via winget.

Run this command in Command Prompt or PowerShell:

winget install Google.PlatformTools

Then run fastboot erase persist again and see if it works.
