I'm Edgar Bruney — a Full Stack Engineer and System Computer Engineer with over a decade of experience shipping scalable applications and cloud solutions, currently within IBM's CIO Organization in Zapopan, Mexico. I've been on GitHub since 2013.
Lately my work lives at the intersection of AI agents and everyday problems: I build autonomous, conversational agents across BeeAI, CrewAI, and LangGraph — from a Strava performance coach that engineers my running PRs to trend-analysis tools for X. I also containerize AI workflows (an unrestricted IBM Bob Shell REST harness) and explore quantum computing with Qiskit.
Off the keyboard I'm a hybrid athlete chasing a sub-21-minute 5K, a space-exploration enthusiast, and I code to a soundtrack of heavy music.

ℹ️ This bio was compiled from publicly available information across the internet and written with the help of AI.
Things I've built and open-sourced — mostly AI agents and developer tooling.
- IBM Bob Shell Harness — Dockerized harness that runs IBM's Bob Shell headless in an unrestricted mode and exposes it over a REST API.
- Strava Agent — Conversational agent on the BeeAI framework that analyzes athletic performance from the Strava API.
- X Trends Agent — The same trend-analysis agent implemented three ways: BeeAI · CrewAI · LangGraph.
I write about AI agents, fitness data, and personal tooling on Medium.
