Game/server crashes when breaking hyperbox containing a powered ME controller from AE2

Minecraft version: 1.20.1 forge 47.2.0
Mod version: 4.0.1.0

how to reproduce:
download AE2 and hyperbox mod
make a hyperbox
enter the hyperbox
place ME controller (AE2)
exit hyperbox
break hyperbox

I can’t get on my PC right now but when I’m able to get on to get the crash logs, I will

One other thing I forgot to add is you need to have the me controller powered (still not at a pc so still can’t share logs)
I sent this issue to the owner of the server. I play on so he can share the servers crash logs. That way you don’t have to wait for me till I get to my PC.

Mods: AE2, Mekanism, Hyperbox

setup:

After unloading the dimension by breaking the hyperbox. The game proceeds to crash attempting to do something with transfering energy from a non existent entity

On top of that, it doesnt have to be just mekanism cables. Any FE energy cables can replicate that issue.
