What problem does this solve?

I've got a crash on indexing of c file, I am wondering if it would be possible to filter it out, and i see it tries to index some unwanted files as well.

Also interested in this — we have .gobra files (a Go superset with //@ verification annotations used by the Gobra verifier). These files live alongside .go files but are invisible to the knowledge graph because the tool doesn't recognize the extension. A configurable include/exclude filter would solve this, but a generic "allow user-specified file extensions" option (e.g. --include-ext .gobra) would be even better — we'd want these indexed, not excluded.

For now, our workaround is a session-reminder hook telling agents that .gobra files aren't indexed and they must use raw Grep to search src/main/resources/builtin/ and src/main/resources/stubs/.

Thank you for describing the need to exclude specific files and extensions. This is a discovery-policy feature rather than a stability defect: it must compose predictably with .gitignore, .cbmignore, built-in exclusions, and full/fast modes. I have routed it to 0.9.2-rc for that design pass. The separate crash observation should be filed as its own issue with a minimal reproduction so it is not hidden inside the feature request.
