Summary of Changes

Hello @diego-dm-morais, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request updates the SonarQube integration for both .NET and Python projects. It primarily focuses on upgrading the SonarQube GitHub Action, refining the analysis parameters for .NET, and adjusting the post-scan status check delay to improve reliability.

Highlights

  • SonarQube Action Upgrade: The SonarQube scan action used for .NET projects has been updated to v5.2.0.
  • Refined .NET Analysis Parameters: The .NET SonarQube analysis now explicitly includes only C# files (**/*.cs), sets the project base directory, and specifies the C# analyzer project output paths (bin/Debug/net6.0). A new required input sonar-project-name has been introduced to allow for a distinct project name in SonarQube.
  • Updated Exclusions for .NET: The default sonar-exclusions for .NET projects have been modified to remove **/Tests/**, meaning test files will now be included in the SonarQube analysis.
  • Increased SonarQube Status Check Delay: The sleep duration in the sonarqube-status.sh scripts for both .NET and Python has been increased from 10 to 15 seconds, providing more time for SonarQube to process results before the quality gate status is checked.

Code Review

This pull request updates the SonarQube GitHub Actions, presumably to a new major version. The changes include adding a required sonar-project-name input, updating scanner arguments for .NET, and increasing the wait time in the status-checking scripts. My review has identified a few areas for improvement. Specifically, there's a significant change to the default file exclusions for the .NET action that could be surprising to users, a hardcoded path that will limit the action's applicability for different .NET projects, and the use of a fixed sleep which is an unreliable method for waiting on analysis completion. Addressing these points will improve the robustness and usability of these actions.
