I've been working on a script for this and have made some progress. I'd like to discuss Open Alex vs other tools at our next meeting. I've been largely unimpressed with the quality of Open Alex metadata and they have been unresponsive in relation to serious metadata issues related to my own pubs.

note: I've implemented an api script that can call openalex and crossref - will look at integrating this into CS here in the near future, should be pretty simple - only questions is UX/UI decisions and where to integrate in workflow.
