docs(alerts): refresh free SMTP relay recommendations - #120
Merged
Conversation
Mailgun's old 3-month free trial no longer exists (it now has a permanent but small 100/day free tier requiring domain verification). Replace the single Mailgun callout with a short comparison of current free-tier SMTP relay providers (SMTP2GO, Brevo, MailerSend, Mailgun), plus a note on Cloudflare's new SMTP-based Email Service, which requires a paid Workers plan for outbound sending so isn't free.
Brevo adds branding to free-tier emails; drop it in favor of Mailjet (6,000/mo, 200/day, permanently free, plain SMTP relay credentials), which is also what the LinuxGSM homelab currently uses.
Cloudflare Email Service's SMTP sending requires a paid Workers plan, so it doesn't belong alongside the free relay options.

Summary
Why
Follow-up to #119 — while updating the nullmailer docs, noticed the Mailgun recommendation was stale and the free-relay landscape has shifted since it was written.
