bug: Members who do not participate in Thread still receive notifications from Thread

Describe the bug

Issue 1:

Step 1: The channel is called "channelTest" and has 3 members
Step 2: Member 1 creates a thread, the thread includes two users: Member 1 and Member 2.
Step 3: Member 1 and Member 2 chat in the thread

Expected behavior:
Members should only receive notifications and sort channel in channel list when there is a message from the main chat channel or the threads they are participating in.

Issue 2: Currently, there is no easy way to get the unread thread count within a message. This makes it difficult for users to identify which threads have unread messages and navigate to them. As a result, important conversations may be missed, leading to user frustration.

Expected behavior:
Show unread thread count from each thread the same Google chat

Hey, @vihan85, I can't seem to replicate the first issue - could you please tell me how does the thread creation look like on your end? I imagine that by "creating a thread" you mean sending a message from Member 1 that mentions Member 2 and then sending a reply to said message? Or Member 1 sends a plain message and then sends a reply to said message mentioning Member 2? In either case I can see that the notification events are being delivered only to the expected participants.

As for the other issue - we have something we call a "thread view" which is essentially a list of conversations revolving around thread messages you're involved in. See here. There's currently no plan to add read/unread state to replies in regular channel messages. You can track the number of unread threads by either tracking the state of ThreadManager (StreamChat.threads) or by replicating this sort of a functionality in your application. You can also track the number of unread thread messages (count of all unread messages across all the threads that particular user is involved in) but that information is delivered only through notification.mark_read, notification.mark_unread and notification.thread_message_new events.
