GoConsoleOS Theme for Windows 11

Turn your Windows 11 into a GoConsoleOS-style console — dark navy surfaces, cyan (#00C9DB) accents — while keeping 100% of Microsoft Windows 11 underneath. No third-party mods, no shell replacements, no system files touched. Pure theme + personalization.

Install

One click (recommended)

Run apply.exe and click Apply GoConsoleOS, or run it headless:

.\apply.exe --apply

This applies the theme, lock screen, pointer, text-cursor indicator, taskbar/explorer/start settings, sounds, and Windows Terminal profiles in one pass, then restarts Explorer.

Explorer restarts automatically so colors + taskbar refresh. Everything else in Windows 11 stays exactly as it is.

Windows Terminal

The GoConsoleOS profile + color scheme were added to your Terminal settings and set as default. Open a new tab to see the console look. It's a stock Windows Terminal profile — no third-party tools.

Revert

This restores dark/light defaults, the stock cursor, auto wallpaper and the default Windows sound scheme. Start menu "Recommended" is re-enabled by Settings → Personalization → Start.

Notes

• Only touches the current user (HKCU) — no admin needed, no system files (the optional OLED taskbar-transparency tweak needs admin and is skipped otherwise).
• apply.exe is a .NET 9 app; keep GoConsoleOS.dll, GoConsoleOS.deps.json and GoConsoleOS.runtimeconfig.json next to it.
• The wallpaper lives in wallpapers\GoConsoleOS-1080p.png; for 4K displays, copy GoConsoleOS-4K.png over it and rerun, or set it in Settings → Personalization.
• Lock screen may need one lock (Win+L) to pick up the new image.
• If the cyan pointer doesn't appear immediately, open Settings → Accessibility → Mouse pointer and touch once — the cyan color is already selected.
