MSc Eng. in Computer Science (Cybersecurity) and BEng in Computer Networks. I build small labs, attack them on purpose, and then work out what the whole thing looks like from the defender's side — in the logs.
- 🛡️ Security monitoring & detection — Wazuh (SIEM/EDR), Windows Event Log, syslog, custom rules
- 🌐 Network security — Cisco IOS, MikroTik RouterOS, VLANs, ACLs, Layer 2 hardening, VPN
- 🔍 Traffic & log analysis — Wireshark, Nmap, root cause investigation
- 🐍 Python — automating analysis, processing security data, making experiments reproducible
- 📚 Learning next — Splunk, MITRE ATT&CK mapping, SC-200
🛡️ wazuh-lab — SIEM/EDR home lab
Wazuh deployed on KVM/QEMU with a Windows Server endpoint. Custom XML rules for ingesting Windows Defender and syslog events, end-to-end validation with a malware detection and quarantine scenario, alert analysis and notes on what each detection actually sees.

Comparative study of WEP and WPA2 in an isolated lab (WPA3 covered theoretically): traffic capture, dictionary attack effectiveness measured against available compute (CPU vs GPU) and wordlist quality, results turned into password policy recommendations. Fully automated in Python for reproducibility. Publishing in progress.

🔐 Cryptie — end-to-end encrypted messenger
Team project. I owned testing and quality assurance.

🌬️ DonQuixote — renewable energy site planning
Python application processing and visualising geospatial data for wind farm site assessment.
