Any idea how hard it is to download http links today? Next to impossible on a Chromebook for me.
Do we have admin access to the wiki server?
Any reason why we cant use Lets Encrypt and certbot? It is in the Debian repos

Admin access is likely a problem. It has been suggested to migrate the wiki content to github but the topic seems to have stalled:

Yes. The problem will be to decide/agree on what should be integrated into the docs and what can be dropped. Our tendency is to continually add stuff but we are not very good at leaving old (and sometimes even broken) stuff behind.
In fact the state of the wiki itself is testament to that.

I don't know how viable this would be but apparently you can download a website using httrack https://www.httrack.com/

And then use an API to upload the pages to a new wiki server. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/API:Action_API

But I am not convinced our stepper docs are current. I was quite lost until I worked out stepconf sets all of the Steplen parameters in the Hal file not ini. I was going to check that with pncconf to confirm consistency.

Exactly. I think the lack of feedback about not being able to access it can be taken as a good indication of how irrelevant the wiki and its content is these days.
