Tracking Issue

Source: surfaced during /idd-plan #28 tangential sweep (Step 2.5)

#28 (idd-verify --loop / idd-all unattended detect ralph-loop) 將 hardcode ~/.claude/plugins/cache/<marketplace>/<plugin>/ path schema。當前 (2025-Q4) 此 path 為事實標準,但 Anthropic 升級 Claude Code 可能改 schema:

• e.g. 加 versioning 變成 ~/.claude/plugins/cache/<marketplace>/<plugin>/<version>/
• e.g. 改用 SHA-based content addressing
• e.g. 移到 ~/.local/share/claude-code/plugins/

任一改動都會 break #28 的 check-ralph-loop.sh (false negative degrade IDD experience)。

Mitigation paths (待評估)

1. 依賴 claude plugin list CLI — 若 Claude Code 提供 machine-readable plugin list query → call CLI 不依賴 path schema
2. 加 schema version detect — ~/.claude/plugins/CACHE_SCHEMA_VERSION 之類 marker,若不存在 fallback 到 path probe
3. Watch upstream notes — 訂閱 Claude Code release changelog,出現 plugin cache schema 改動 → 補 issue 修

When to evaluate

每次 Claude Code 大版本升級 (e.g. 1.x → 2.x) 都來 review 一次本 issue。如果 schema 仍穩定,close 為 wontfix-still-valid;若改動,reopen 進 fix。

Problem

scripts/check-ralph-loop.sh (#28) hardcode ~/.claude/plugins/cache/<marketplace>/<plugin>/<version>/.claude-plugin/plugin.json path schema (Claude Code 2025-Q4)。Anthropic 升級可能改 schema(加版本 hash、移路徑、改 SHA-based content addressing)→ false-negative degrade IDD experience。

Root Cause

依賴 upstream-controlled cache path schema — 不是本 repo bug,但是 implicit fragility surface。

Solution

No code change. Close as tracking-only.

#28 round-2 verify 階段已驗證了本 issue 的 prescience:

• helper script 第一版假設 <plugin>/.claude-plugin/ 直接相鄰,結果 actual schema 含 <plugin>/<version>/.claude-plugin/ 中間層
• F3 verify finding 用 nullglob bash array fix 加固 path schema brittleness
• 證實本 issue 的 watch-list 立場是對的:不在 feature+docs: idd-verify --loop / idd-all unattended 隱性依賴 ralph-loop — 應宣告 + auto-detect + 內建探索 #28 內試圖完美設計,而是 file 為 watch issue,等真實事件觸發再修

未來信號:

• Anthropic 釋出 claude plugin --json-schema-version / claude plugin cache-layout 等 introspection
• Claude Code release notes 提到 plugin cache reorganization
• ~/.claude/plugins/cache/ 結構有 visible 變動(extra dirs / suffix)

任一觸發 → reopen 本 issue + 修 helper script。

Validated insight from #28

Plan-tier 階段把 cache path brittleness 標為 risk + file 為 #35 watch-list。Round-2 verify smoke test 真撞到 schema mismatch (/version/ segment) → 證明 explicit watching 是正確設計

未來如果 Claude Code path schema 真改動,IDD 已經:

1. 有 escape hatch (IDD_SKIP_RALPH_CHECK=1)
2. helper exit 1 時印明確 detect path 讓 user debug
3. 本 issue 留作 reopen entry point
