Consider Also Creating or Finding a Similar List of Operating-System Examples/Resources

     I may want to consider creating a separate list of operating-system examples (and potentially also resources) similar to the one for programming-language ones here in this repository at some point in the future. Alternatively, perhaps there's one out there I'd be satisfied with, but I haven't found one that puts them into a bulleted list grouped by OS family yet. I did see a couple things as a result of a quick Google search for 'list of operating systems by family':

• List of operating systems — Wikipedia, as well as any further articles reachable from that one by wiki walk.
• Operating Systems: Timeline and Family Tree — Maps and Tables by Alphonse Eylenburg
• Operating System List — Operating-System.org

but these either don't completely meet my criteria, aren't 100% accurate, or otherwise have issues.

     Note that said potential list of operating systems (and maybe also operating-system development resources) might follow this repository's precedent of flattening its entries' ancestry hierarchies a bit to prevent them from becoming nested too deeply.
