Issue Summary
First off, and I may be mistaken here, but I seem to remember that the feature image caption in the editor used to be centered. It's now left aligned.
But more importantly, and what sticks out the most (which makes me think that previous versions behaved differently), is that when one hovers over a link in the feature image caption and clicks on the pencil icon to edit the link, the input box is not only smaller than the box that appears when hovering over the link, but it's so small that editing the link can be cumbersome.
When hovering over a link in the feature image caption:
Upon clicking on the pencil icon:
Not only can this behaviour be cumbersome, but it's markedly different that when interacting with links in captions of regular images.
First off, the caption is centered when it comes to regular images. Nicer, but no biggie.
But secondly, and more importantly, when clicking on the pencil icon one gets a much bigger input box within which to edit the link (as well as a more "feature rich" experience by displaying the "LINK TO WEB PAGE" bit, as well as the option it italicize and add bold to the caption, the latter options only available for the feature image caption link by manually highlighting the link).
Last of all, and to add mention of an inconsequential inconsistency, it seems that when clicking the pencil icon to a link in the feature image caption that the link becomes highlighted, while doing so to a link in a regular image caption does not result in the link getting highlighted (well, it seems that it does for an instant, but then reverts to non-highlighted state).
Steps to Reproduce
- Hover over a link in a feature image caption
- Click on the pencil icon
- See that the input box is rather small
