PY: reduce `Any` in `profile_helpers.py`

Follow-up from review of #167. 

`assets/api/writer-generator/python/profile_helpers.py` uses `Any` ~40 times. Investigate whether the count can be meaningfully reduced via Generics / stricter typing — without forcing unsound annotations.
