I’m the managing director of BitBot Software Pty Ltd and an Australian software developer. I build practical mobile and web apps that help people explore the world around them, understand their data, and make better decisions.
My work spans native Android development with Java and cross-platform development with Flutter and Dart. I’m particularly interested in mapping, location-aware tools, energy data visualisation, and projects that turn useful public or personal data into approachable products.
- Aus Phone Towers — Explore Australian mobile towers and services using current data from the Australian Communications and Media Authority. The native Java Android app is available on Google Play, while the Flutter iPhone app is open source.
- Amber Electric Dashboard — A Flutter dashboard for visualising Amber Electric energy consumption. It is available on the web, Android, and iPhone. This is an independent project and is not affiliated with Amber Electric.
- Ant Nuptial Flight Predictor — A Flutter app that uses local weather and a data-driven model to forecast when queen ants are likely to undertake nuptial flights near you. Source code is available on GitHub.
- Momentum Energy Dashboard — A browser-based Flutter dashboard that visualises locally processed electricity-usage CSV exports. Source code is available on GitHub.
I welcome issues, ideas, and pull requests for my open-source projects—especially Aus Phone Towers for iPhone, Ant Nuptial Flight Predictor, and the energy dashboards.
