Hi there 👋

I am a postdoc at the computational biology center of the Human Technopole in Milan, working with cancer genomes and drug resistance.

Things I am building:

Genomic helpers

  • 🧬 varianth - a rust package and CLI tool containing a list of helpers for variant-related tasks and other genomic work.
  • 🧬 bed-compare - a tool to compare the overlaps of a set of bed files.

AI tooling:

  • 🔁 bucle - a basic "ralph loop" implementation for local development with coding agents.
  • 💡 dmp-skills - a personal tool for installing and managing AI skills, my personal repository and a set of external ones.
  • codex limits

Obsidian tooling:

  • 📦 overseer - a CLI that aggregates a set of common functionalities (e.g. sorting sources, moveing files, agentic notes) to manage my personal obisidian vault.
  • 🧬 obsidian-genes a experimental obsidian plugin with API access to multiple services for doi to metadata extraction: from EuroPMC, Arxiv and bioRxiv and gene name search from ncbi-genes API.

Meta-research:

  • 📚 cite-trajectory a visualization of the citation trends from a selected list of papers. Data from openAlex.
  • 📝 url2doi a small flask app to convert URLs from academic papers into their corresponding dois, demo available here.
