A program for controlling computer volume with mouse wheel.
Instead of searching for volume buttons on the keyboard or in the system tray, simply move your cursor to the top-right corner of the screen and scroll the mouse wheel:
- Scroll up - volume up
- Scroll down - volume down
The program shows the standard Windows system volume slider, as if you pressed F2/F3 keys. Works over any programs - browsers, games, video players.
Windows only:
- Windows 7
- Windows 8/8.1
- Windows 10
- Windows 11
The program uses specific Windows features and does not work on Mac or Linux.
- Download
VolumeScroll.exe - Run the file as administrator (right click → "Run as administrator")
- The program will start working automatically - you will see an open console.
- Move cursor to the top-right corner of the screen (100×100 pixels area)
- Scroll mouse wheel to change volume
- Close the console window
- Or press Ctrl+C in the console
- Or use Task Manager
To make the program start with Windows, copy VolumeScroll.exe to the startup folder:
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
