code ticks within a link are broken

If you put a code block anywhere inside a link

[`code`](link)

it renders as this for some reason:

• reported upstream link containing inline code produces invalid unicode which borks cursor alignment panphora/overtype#49

Possible solutions:

• fix it
• warn and send this issue so people know not to do it
