Long Running Tasks: error: stream chunk timed out

I'm getting an error on long running tasks:

error: stream chunk timed out after 29s while a tool call was
mid-assembly (provider stalled emitting tool-call deltas — common
DeepSeek symptom; the harness narrows to 30s while assembling tool
calls)

I'm running using Codex (login through the browser) and the chatgpt-5.5 model.

Is there a workaround for this?

I'll have to take a look, there should be a retry already but perhaps it can be more aggressive, and make the timeout configurable.

Once I see the error, everything halts, essentially.

Ok jut pushing out a release with the fix, hopefully does the trick.
