Simple setup does not work on Ubuntu 20.10 as described.

I'm not sure what exactly is going on, but I just created a brand new VM on azure and followed the documentation on the page.

Doing this I ran into the following a warning first:

Then I ran this command:

I mean this doesn't really feel like I'm doing anything strange, however it does not work as you can see above. The package docker-ce does not exist.

I found out this is because I wasn't using 20.04 but instead 20.10. However when simply typing focal instead of $(lsb_release -cs) it works. It is a fallback but might be good to mention it?

Seems like docker's ubuntu 20.10 repository is broken. 20.10 is groovy. 20.04 is focal, that's why replacing it manually with focal worked for you as $(lsb_release -cs) returns groovy for you (same for me).
