[wasm] Better communication between apphost and browser

Current communication between apphost and browser can be fragile. We should create a more robust way to

• Forward console output
• Propagate exit code

So ideas

• Different protocol than WebSocket
• configurable target endpoint (not just localhost)

It would be ideal to use chromedriver/geckodriver for some of this.
