expectedMinHandSize is set to handAfter when a transfer is detected (line 1047), but was never reset for the lifetime of the session. It persists across all subsequent turns.
Example:
Earlier turn: you asked for something and received cards — say hand grew to 6. expectedMinHandSize = 6.
Opponent's turn(s): opponent asked you for ranks you held, your hand shrank — say down to 3.
Your next turn: expectedMinHandSize = 6, myHand.length = 3 → handIsReady = 3 >= 6 → false → canSelectCard = false. Cards locked.
You asked for a 7 somehow (maybe a frame where cards briefly lit up), got it (hand now 4), but expectedMinHandSize is still 6 → still locked.

Also: added launch.json for .claude to preview frontend
