Siftable brings projects, tasks, executable agent work, notes, datasets, calendar, contacts, code memory, and governed capabilities into compatible AI clients through the hosted Siftable MCP server.
The plugin connects to:

Sign in with Siftable when the client opens the OAuth flow. Start with
context_current to inspect the active account and project, then use
find_capability to discover tools outside the initial catalog. Siftable asks
for additional scopes only when a requested capability needs them.
- The plugin connects only to
https://siftable.io/api/v1/mcp. - Authentication uses Siftable OAuth; users need a Siftable account but do not paste credentials, API keys, or personal access tokens into the plugin.
- Tool calls send user-selected Siftable requests to
siftable.ioand return the corresponding account, project, work, knowledge, or dataset records. - The plugin contains no hooks, local executables, telemetry, or install scripts.
- Read and write operations are identified by explicit MCP tool annotations.
- Destructive operations remain marked as destructive and require the client's normal confirmation behavior.
- The plugin does not ask users to paste API keys or personal access tokens.
