0.5.0 was prepared on 2026-08-15 but the tag was never pushed, so the release never shipped. Re-date and include today's lint-panic fix.

PR #62 prepared 0.5.0 on August 15 (version bump plus changelog), but the
v0.5.0tag was never pushed, so the release never shipped and v0.4.0 is still the latest. Since nobody has seen the old date, this re-dates the 0.5.0 section to today and adds the lint-panic fix from #71 to it, extending the intro to mention the crash.After this merges I'll tag
v0.5.0on the merge commit to kick off the cargo-dist release.
