MarkerManager.Collection depends on Google Play Services?

MarkerManager.Collection method addMarker() only accepts com.google.android.libraries.maps.model.MarkerOptions even after using Non Google Play Services Dependent version of the library.

@ArcherEmiya05 The v3 build of android-maps-utils (implementation 'com.google.maps.android:android-maps-utils-v3:2.2.5') depends on the Maps SDK v3 beta, so it shouldn't have a dependency on Google Play Services. The Maps SDK v3 beta has it's own implementation of MarkerOptions.

You can see this in the demo app v3 product flavor - it depends on the SDK v3 beta instead of Google Play Services using the v3Implementation:
