Ability to ignore a thread?

I played around with this today and I really like the presentation. It makes the mailing lists so much easier to read, so thank you!

The big feature I was hoping to see but did not is the ability to mark a thread as ignored. There is a lot going on and I can usually tell pretty early on if I have any interest in a thread of not. It would be great to have a button on the main list that would ignore a thread and prevent it from coming up in my list again (including all new replies). Of course, there would need to be some sort of filter to see the ignored threads.

It's possible this feature exists and I just could not find it?

The feature doesn't exist, but I do understand your issue and will look into a potential implementation and get back to you with a mockup.

Here is a quick recording of how I envision implementing this feature. Please let me know what you think.

It's basically handled the same way as with starred threads. It's simply a filter in the end. The threads will disappear completely, and only show up in the specified filter or if you set the setting accordingly in a search query. Otherwise, you don't need to see them anymore.

That looks reasonable to me, though I haven't figured out how to star anything yet. I can see I have some conversations already starred but not sure how that happened!
