Webdav not working, support not responding

Hi there,

as the Webdav and CLI feature was later removed from the Stack Social lifetime plan I was really shocked (see #384).

Some weeks ago I sent an email to your support and try to get some information about what happened because I want to purely use it with the Webdav option. But till now noone answered. Can you please give an overview what this change is now changing for those who bought it over stack social when there was no information about CLI not included?

Also it would still be nice to get an answer to my mail :-/

Don't wait too much for an answer, you'll be disappointed.
I have bought this for storage backup, I don't kown what I will do with it without CLI.
I'm sure it was not stated when I bought it. That's ridiculous.

It's important to note that plans purchased through StackSocial only include cloud storage, as stated in the product details. Features such as CLI, Mail, Meet, Cleaner, Auto-Backups, or Antivirus are not included.

Until recently, CLI access for these plans was unintentionally available, but that connection has now been restricted to paid tiers that include developer or advanced features.

For full CLI functionality, you would need to upgrade to one of our available Internxt lifetime plans.

If you get a new lifetime, the storage from the old plan and the new one are stacked and the new features will be unlocked.

But I don't want to buy 5TB more juste to have CLI, I'm not even using more than 100GB :-/

Thank you very much for your reply. Sad to hear that you have the same problems. But 90% discount and those actions against paying customers feels like they have some serious issues. And I am not willing to buy the lifetime plan with cli again, knowing that they change it afterwards whenever they want or need.

Sorry for the inconvenience, unfortunately, from the dev team side we can't do much more, since this is a product decision rather than a technical issue.

I will close this issue for now, but if I get any updates I will let you know here.

UPDATE 2025.11.24 - After a few back-and-forths and 3 weeks, the support team has re-enabled CLI access on my account today. Of course, YMMV, but this was a positive sign for me, making good on the previous functionality for existing users. Nice job!

Just chiming in here in case extra commentary helps raise visibility of the issue and user concern.

I do understand when pricing/package changes need to be made, but removing features from existing Lifetime users is a very poor decision. (Especially since there's no marginal cost per user for this specific feature.)

I also submitted a ticket to the support team last week with no response yet. I would pass on to your business teams that not even communicating this to your existing users is making the situation significantly worse and really eroding trust in the product. I can imagine your existing user base isn't going to pay twice to regain access.

Don’t Use Internxt – They Remove Features Without Notice

I purchased the Internxt Lifetime Deal for 10 TB storage on StackSocial in November 2024. At the time of purchase, all advertised features — including the web client, CLI, and WebDAV access — worked perfectly. To be safe, I even took screenshots and saved an archive.org snapshot of the sales page as proof of what was offered.

Everything was running fine at first, but since a recent change in the software, these features no longer work — you can even check the relevant Git commit on GitHub that removed the functionality. I contacted Internxt support several times to ask why these features were disabled on my account, but never received a reply.

After checking Reddit, I found that Internxt had recently changed the deal terms for new Lifetime users, now claiming that these features were “never included.” That statement is simply not true for early buyers like me.

I also posted about this issue in the Internxt Reddit group, explaining that my account was limited and the feature had been removed — instead of getting help, my Reddit account was banned from the group.

Overall, I’m very disappointed with how Internxt handled this situation — features were removed without notice, communication was non-existent, and criticism was silenced.
