If a user refreshes the page during an active mock exam in PrepArsenal, how is progress and remaining time preserved? |

The Mock Exam engine uses local state synchronization combined with indexedDB / localStorage session recovery. When the exam starts, an active session token and timer state are stored locally. On page reload, the exam component hydrates from this cached snapshot so the countdown timer and marked answers remain intact. |
