Steps to reproduce the issue

Can you please checkout and build the develop branch of graphlib and see if that fixes things for you. I had to fix a few memory bugs that occur when not using some of the new attribute types. You will have to add this to your var/spack/repos/builtin/packages/graphlib/package.py:

    git      = "https://github.com/LLNL/graphlib.git"
    version('develop', branch='develop')

Please let me know if this helps.

I think I found and fixed the issue. We were not setting one of the default edge attributes to NULL. Please try rebuilding the develop branch again:

@schulzm I'm not sure what the "-cp 1" flag for "Prune tree" is supposed to do. However, it looks like when performing this step and calling graphlib_colorInvertedPathDeleteRest, it is failing to find the node with label "13". I can see that the merged graph does indeed have a node with the "13" label, in the debugger I can see it is node index 8 in the graph. Do you have any ideas of what is going on here? I can continue to debug this, but it is a bit of a black box to me since I don't know what the "Prune tree" option is supposed to do.

I figured out the problem. The issue is that demo-b.gr1 is a graph, not a tree, that is, it has undirected edges. As such, the prune operation is probably ill-defined. If you change testB() in graphdemo.c to only use "addDirectedEdge", rebuild, rerun graphdemo and then do the merge with the -cp 1 pruning operation, then it does not report this error. Does that make sense?
