Visual polish

  • compact 940×650 layout
  • move Scan fault records into the header and remove the remote-directory input
  • remove the remote-directory grid column
  • apply soft-gradient pill styling to every button
  • vertically center all grid cells and text
  • keep the records grid, row backgrounds, selection highlights, and status indicators strictly square with no rounded edges
  • replace the status text cell with a clean rectangular accent indicator

Smart workflow

  • detect previously downloaded records from the selected local folder on every scan and folder change
  • validate all expected companion filenames and known sizes
  • mark completed local records with a green square-row highlight
  • mark incomplete local sets with an amber square-row highlight
  • disable selection for records already downloaded, preventing accidental duplicates
  • retain detection across application restarts because the local filesystem is the source of truth

Feedback

  • add a soft-gradient, auto-hiding toast for download success, failure, cancellation, and folder changes
  • preserve the expandable transfer diagnostics only for actual failures
