Initial search reports no package results if pageSize is >=50

Describe the bug

Steps

1. Configure a page size of 50 or higher
2. Go to https://npmx.dev/ (load or reload, don't navigate)
3. Paste "nuxt" into the search box (or type and submit while instant search is turned off)
4. Observe that only the nuxt org is listed, but no packages
5. Type a whitespace
6. Observe that results for packages appear

This seems to be a local issue. I couldn't repro in Firefox, Safari or a private window.

Edit: the same happens if I simply type "a". I can't figure out why it's happening though.

Edit 2: "Fixed" by purging my settings from localStorage. Unfortunately I wasn't able to retrace which setting might have caused the bug.

I've narrowed it down to the npmx-list-prefs entry. I was able to repro the problem by copying over the following settings to an incognito localStorage:

The symptom is that the POST request to Algolia (in my case https://ofcncog2cu-dsn.algolia.net/1/indexes/*/queries) never gets dispatched.

... apparently it's pageSize: 100 that breaks things, though no error gets reported anywhere (I didn't check for caught errors though).

So the minimal repro is:

localStorage["npmx-list-prefs"] = `{"pageSize":100}`;

Page sizes 10 and 25 are fine, anything above breaks. I've updated the title and repro steps.

I can't reproduce this, could you share a video?

@ghostdevv Sure, here's a demo, this time in Firefox. The missing step might be that the page needs to be loaded directly for the bug to take effect, a simple route change isn't enough. I've added a note to the repro steps.
