The macOS v0.3.1 candidate passed plugin notarization, then stopped because the archive smoke expected a Windows-style version banner. The hash-verified macOS 7zz binary reports
7-Zip (z) 26.03; accept that standalone variant while still requiring the exact pinned version and the existing format/round-trip checks.Run the real archive smoke in macOS PR CI before tagging, and cover both accepted banners plus wrong versions and variants. Bump the desktop and official plugins to v0.3.2 for a new immutable personal-testing candidate. Existing tags remain intact.
Validation: 29 release/packaging checks, actual Windows bundled-engine archive smoke, and locked offline workspace check pass. Confirmed both architecture banners directly from the hash-verified macOS universal binary. Read-only review found no additional concrete failures in the remaining macOS packaging steps. macOS execution is gated by PR CI and signed draft packaging; no public release or real-machine attestation.
