stats toolbar theme support using a custom theme?

I don't see a way to specify the stats bottom toolbar theme overrides in https://github.com/panphora/overtype/blob/main/src/themes.js. Is this possible? I am using cave as a base with custom colors overrides.

I worked around this sort-of by removing my custom theme and going with:

Now the stats toolbar renders with my colors:

Fixed in v2.3.6 (commit f03e485).

Root cause: .overtype-stats used hardcoded #f8f9fa / #666 / #e0e0e0 with !important, so --bg-secondary, --text-secondary, and --border set by themeToCSSVars() were ignored. A [data-theme="cave"] override existed for the dark built-in theme — which is why the workaround you found (theme: 'cave' + custom colors:) worked, but a custom theme object with its own name did not.

Fix: replaced the hardcoded values with var(--bg-secondary, ...), var(--text-secondary, ...), var(--border, ...) using the previous defaults as fallbacks, and dropped the now-redundant cave-specific rule. Built-in themes and custom theme objects now share a single path.

Your original code from the issue body works as expected now — no workaround needed.
