The open organization behind the PIOS 2.0 framework.
PIOS is a Personal Information Operating System model for owner-controlled personal information infrastructure: preserved sources, canonical events, structured knowledge, retrieval surfaces, governance, and portable setup paths for agents and applications.
The goal: build computing around the person's durable information and authority, and let AI, interfaces, and runtime services operate inside that foundation rather than above or outside it.
Want to get involved? peecos welcomes independent implementations, documentation help, testing, and new compatible projects. Start at peecos.org/get-involved or see CONTRIBUTING.md.

EIOS (entitycore.org) is the entity-scale sibling of PIOS — independent since 2026-07-08, forked with attribution. PIOS centers on a person; EIOS centers on an organization.
Made to be used, shared, and built on. PIOS framework documentation is openly available under Creative Commons; public implementation templates use a permissive open-source license. Use the project names and logos freely to refer to the initiative — the one boundary is not implying official endorsement you don't have.
