This package requires macOS for its AppKit/SwiftUI build and tests. AGENTS.md states that package-specific requirement and gives Linux developers a generic macOS SSH route without publishing a private host alias. CHANGELOG.md and docs/KB.md record the correction. Release evidence and privacy rules remain binding.
Merged the current main tip into this branch and retained both the guidance entry and the upstream 0.2.40 release entry. The complete PR diff against main (
