Approve transaction is mined but no block confirmation is received

Re-verified against main 2026-07-29: still present — the file is byte-unchanged since before the report.

The screenshot is the deploy modal stuck on step 1 "Waiting for approval confirmation…", i.e. TokenDepositStatus.WaitingForApprovalConfirmation set at app/_components/SubmissionModal.tsx:210 and blocked at :216-219:

No timeout option, so viem waits indefinitely and surfaces no error. The client comes from app/providers.tsx:9-14 — getDefaultConfig({ chains: SupportedChainsList }) with no transports map — so Ethereum mainnet (the chain named in the report) polls viem's unauthenticated default public RPC.

Decisive: git log -- app/_components/SubmissionModal.tsx on main tops out at 64537e3 (2024-10-28), which PRE-DATES this issue (2024-11-13), and gh search prs finds no PR addressing it. The surface is still live at rainframe.xyz.
