plot multiscale images

We should be able to plot multiscale images. @LucaMarconato has some prototype code.

Yeah, right now I'm just substituting with the max resolution and then proceed as normal.

Case 1:

User wants to plot a multiscale image (image or label)

• Depending on the image size, pick the scale that fits best (resolution closest) and render that
• In case the lowest resolution is still to high => add rasterization step (go to case 2)

Case 2:

User wants to plot an image (image/label)

• Use heuristic to judge whether image can be plotted directly (small image should be fast anyways)
• Depending on image size, rasterize to the ideal resolution
• Add option for the user to enforce a higher resolution (then it will take longer)
