Summary

  • replace the moving Diffusers Git dependency with the stable diffusers==0.39.0 release
  • pin the coupled Transformers and Accelerate versions across packaged runtimes, backend install plans, and the installer fallback
  • add regression tests that keep every platform on the same tested dependency set and reject moving Git dependencies
  • run the self-contained Python installer/dependency tests in the Verify workflow
  • route NAM Core's pinned Eigen 5.0.1 submodule through Eigen's official GitHub mirror, avoiding GitLab availability failures without changing the dependency commit

Root cause

The ai-runtime-v0.0.12 workflow resolved Diffusers main to a new development commit requiring huggingface-hub>=1.26,<2.0, while OpenStudio intentionally pins huggingface_hub>=0.34,<1.0. Pip therefore reported ResolutionImpossible on Linux and macOS.

During PR verification, GitLab also rejected simultaneous Eigen submodule clones due to load. The official GitHub mirror exposes the exact same pinned commit (bc3b39870ecb690a623a3f49149a358b95c5781d), so builds now use that mirror.

Validation

  • 12 targeted Python dependency/installer tests pass
  • 34 repository Python tests pass locally in the configured development environment
  • exact Linux release requirements resolve successfully with pip dry-run, including torch==2.5.1+cpu and audio-separator[cpu]==0.41.1
  • fresh recursive NAM clone resolves Eigen from the official GitHub mirror at the exact upstream-pinned SHA
  • local CMake configure and openstudio_namcore Debug target pass
  • all install-plan JSON files parse successfully
  • Python syntax checks pass
  • workflow YAML parses successfully
  • git diff --check passes
