Problem

Chapter 2 merged in #803 with output reconstructed from tutorial-db's own messages, because no agent had run the no-Docker tutorial yet.

Solution

Replace it with the trimmed summary from an end-to-end run that started Postgres with tutorial-db (go -C db run .) on macOS.

Both no-Docker reruns passed all nine chapters on mock-lab main with speedscale/mock-lab#67:

  • macOS, Claude Code, Go: mocks 93.4% to 100% with order-dependent SQL reads 122 to 0, tests pass, v2 caught (exit 3), GET /orders N+1 found, gate created. Chapter 7 reset tables with go -C db run . -exec "TRUNCATE order_items, orders".
  • Linux, Claude Code, Go, with the Docker daemon stopped for the whole run: all nine chapters passed.

The prebuilt tutorial-db downloads in the mock-lab README also work: tested the README's curl command on macOS arm64 and Linux arm64 (start, -exec, -stop).

yarn check:writing 0 errors; yarn build passes.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Replace the reconstructed chapter 2 output with the trimmed summary from an
end-to-end run that started Postgres with tutorial-db (go -C db run .) on
macOS. The same run on Linux, with Docker stopped, passed all nine chapters.
