[SOLVED] Incompatible with busybox-w32 v1.38.0

I'm feedbacking after checking out if this works today, and it doesn't.

busybox sh -c "curl 'https://github.com/ghapi/repos/jqlang/jq/commits?per_page=5' | awk -f JSON.awk"

Does it work if you use

busybox sh -c "curl 'https://github.com/ghapi/repos/jqlang/jq/commits?per_page=5' | awk -f JSON.awk -"

Note the command line ends with "-".

busybox does not contain curl ... my bad

Adjusting for wget

busybox64 sh -c "wget -qO- 'https://github.com/ghapi/repos/jqlang/jq/commits?per_page=5' | awk -f JSON.awk"
busybox64 sh -c "wget -qO- 'https://github.com/ghapi/repos/jqlang/jq/commits?per_page=5' | awk -f JSON.awk -"

I get the following error for both alternatives:

awk: bad regex '^|"[^"\\': Unmatched [ or [^

Thank you, that result gives me a clear clue.
But again, you must end the command with a "-", it won't work otherwise.
Refer to the third line in the first codeblock of the Usage Examples section in the README file.

About the issue you are seeing, does it work if you apply the steps documented in this FAQ:

Yes, I noticed you did. But you also didn't (first line of your codeblock) so you still must not be sure (when you wrote your comment) about the correct call syntax. That's why I pointed you to the usage examples–you and anyone else reading this issue page in future.

Adjusted file by replacing \000 literal with \001 for busybox's awk compatibility: JSON.bbox.awk.zip
