We are currently looking for translators to assist with i18n. Only string translations values-{lang}/strings.xml needs to be created - otherwise the internal team will do the work for spellcheck implementation and dictionary generation.

Hi @AntoineRovini ! To help with french translations, please follow the steps below:

1. Create a fork of the Github repo
2. Add a new folder called values-fr in the app/src/main/res path
3. Add a new file named strings.xml
4. Copy the English (values/strings.xml) and update as appropriate.

The internal team will handle adding the dictionary file and some internal updates.

got a quick question, once the translation is done on my fork (I'm halway through it), do I do a PR into main, how will it be handled ?

@Kaguya-fr that's right - feel free to create a PR into the main branch, and we'll handle merging in and generating the dictionary/layout files etc.
