Summary

Clarify on the API pricing page that Venice.ai's consumer subscription plans (Pro, Max) are separate from API billing, which is always metered per request.

Changes

  • overview/pricing.mdx: added a "Venice.ai app subscriptions vs. API billing" subsection under Payment Options. States that the API has no unlimited tier, that app plan perks (unlimited chat prompts, monthly credit allowances, credit banking) don't grant API access or convert into API credits (aside from the existing one-time $10 Pro API credit), and points to USD/crypto top-ups or DIEM staking for funding API requests.

Context

Recurring assistant threads in the review window showed users asking whether Pro/Max plans include unlimited API usage or how monthly app credit allowances map to API model costs. The docs page previously mentioned only the one-time $10 Pro credit, leaving the app-vs-API boundary undocumented.
